The GOGATE is a fully automatic, Farm and Ranch gate. The gate requires no external means of power for it's operation. It has been designed and fabricated to provide years of trouble free, dependable service in a rural environment. With a GOGATE, the driver of any type of vehicle, can open and shut the gate without ever leaving the vehicle, all without the use of a remote operator such as a garage door opener. All of the vehicles on your Farm or Ranch can now enjoy unencumbered access to all parts of the property while keeping livestock securely contained.
How It Works
A GOGATE is activated by placing the left front tire of the vehicle on the gate treadle, one of which is located on either side of the gate. The treadle contains an actuator which is compressed, in turn sending a charge to hydraulic actuators on the GOGATE which activate four processes:
1. The automatic unlatching of the gate
2. The automatic opening of the gate
3. The latching, in an open position of the gate, for a specified "hangtime"
4. The automatic closing and latching of the gate in a closed position
For the operator of any wheeled vehicle, whether it be an automobile, truck, tractor, grain or fuel truck it is now a simple matter to pass from fenced area to fenced area, without ever leaving the vehicle, through a GOGATE!
One of the unique features of a GOGATE is that the fully opened position of the gate; known as "hangtime"; can be adjusted by the gate owner simply and easily by dialing a knob. Typically, a car or light truck will only require the GOGATE to be opened for approximately 15 seconds. When the operator is on a tractor, pulling a gooseneck or horsetrailer, or driving an 18 wheeler, a longer "hangtime" is required. The advantage of a GOGATE is that the fully opened position of the GOGATE can be adjusted up to two minutes to allow any vehicle unhurried access.
Once through, the GOGATE automatically closes and securely latches, ensuring your livestock and property are once again secure. The GOGATE can be opened by hand when your passing through on foot or horseback as well. The GOGATE can also be securely locked to provide increased security should you so desire.

Installation
All GOGATE's provide for the maximum ease of installation. Two installed models are available. A Surface Mount (SM), the quickest model to install, which can be burmed up to or trench installed. The Embedded Post Mount (EPM) model can be installed where concrete or asphalt driveways are pre-existing.
Maintenance
Built to exact, quality standards, all GOGATE's require minimum maintenance.
Four integrated, mechanical adjusting mechanisms provide for variations
in the elevation, camber and vertical alignment of the gate. Two
adjustments are provided for changes in hangtime and operational force.
A "do it yourself" maintenance guide is provided with every GOGATE.
Warranty
All GOGATE's are covered by a one year, "post to post", full warranty and lifetime structural warranty. Additional manufacturers warranties on the operational components vary from component to component.

Safety
While care is required in all aspects of your operation, a GOGATE is designed to operate safely while opening and closing. The force required to open and close the GOGATE on a windy day will not harm children or livestock should they come in contact with the gate during its operation.
Manual Gate Release
A manual gate release is incorporated into all GOGATE's to allow those
on foot or horseback access through the gate. Security latches are also
provided should you wish to lock your GOGATE and prevent unauthorized use
of the GOGATE.
